On the 29th July 2002, our first son was born at 25 weeks. He was 15 weeks too early. For 6 weeks we watched him fight but sadly he left us on 12th September 2002.

A tiny golden butterfly
Perched upon my sill
His wings he fluttered gently
To give my heart a thrill.
On the wind I heard a song
Sung with pure delight
Trilled by a tiny bluebird
Such a lovely sight!
Through my window drifted
A fragrance oh so sweet
From newly blooming flowers
Came this lovely special treat.
I'm touched by gentle breezes

A thousand words won't bring you back we know because we've tried and neither will a million tears, we know because we've cried. You've left behind our broken hearts and precious memories too but we never wanted memories, we only wanted you xxx
